Beatrice Mary “Trixie” (née Carrigan) WALLS
March 24, 1926 – August 18, 2022
Peacefully at home in Kingston ON, in the company of her grandson, John, in her 97th year. Born in Oxted, Surrey, Trixie met her beloved Jim in Hellingly, Sussex, and they married in The Parish Church of St. Bartholomew the Great, London, England in 1945. Predeceased by her husband James Milligan Walls (2009), daughter Jacqueline Ann (2016) (David Lewis), and son Jamie (James Carrigan) (2011) (Kate née Dowling). Cherished mother of Lucinda Walls (Jacques Ménard), Kingston. Loving grandma to James Lewis (Marie MacDonald); John Walls (Erin Dorrance); Andrew Walls; Ariane Ménard; Julien Ménard. Great grandma to Zachary, Calum, and Zoe Lewis; Logan and Jack Walls. Predeceased by her parents, John William and Gladys (née Elbourne) Carrigan; elder siblings Margaret and John (Jack), younger siblings Jenny, Rita, Frank, and George. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews in Canada, England, Hungary, and Mexico. Cremation has taken place. Trixie’s family will cherish her memory and celebrate her life at a future date. A special thank you to healthcare providers, family and friends who shared in Trixie’s care, allowing her to remain at home.
