Colleen Iris Lemyre (Truax)
July 28, 1950 - May 24, 2023
Colleen passed away peacefully May 24, 2023, in her 73rd year at The Bridge Hospice with
her husband by her side. Survived by Mike – to whom she was married just a week short of
49 eventful years, daughters Anne Marie (Peter) Alexander and Allison Lemyre. Loving
grandmother to Frank Fawell Jr., Danielle, James and Eric Alexander. Sister to Clifford
(Jacqueline) Truax and Mary Lou Truax. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Geraldine
Truax and brother Ronald Truax.
Colleen loved to travel and enjoyed outdoor activities such as going to the Marmora KOA
camping, ATV rides, cross country skiing, telling jokes and going for nature drives. She
volunteered as a Brownie leader with Girl Guides of Canada when her daughters were
young and worked as a legal secretary, in the office at Sears Canada and with the CRA.

Celebration of Life Saturday, June 24th 1:00 - 4:00pm at Royal Canadian Legion Branch
103, 34 Bridge St. W, Campbellford. Cremation. Internment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery,
Campbellford. Sunday afternoon music jam session in memory of Colleen.
