Obituary for David Thomas Simpson
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Simpson on December 23, 2022.
David loved life and fought cancer for 10 years before succumbing to the disease .
He left behind his wife Helena, son Chas, mother Irene, brothers Doug(Dixie), Dale, and sisters Kim(Geoff), Karen.
Pre deceased by his father Charles and sister Diane (Stephen) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dave loved his family and friends, always taking time to keep in touch with them.
He was happiest when he was playing guitar, especially around a camp fire entertaining everyone with one of his custom worded songs.
He will be remembered for his joy in making people laugh, and sharing stories.
A celebration of his life instead of a traditional funeral service is planned for January 14th from 1-4 pm in the Amelia Room located at the Waring House in Picton.
We request that all of his friends join us on that day to celebrate his beautiful life.
