Obituary for Gwenyth June Potts (Coombes)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwenyth June Potts (nee Coombes) on Friday, July 15, 2022 after a brave battle with cancer.
Gwen is survived by her husband and best friend, Doug Potts. Lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa (Jeff Potter), Derek (Kristin Johnston) and Sarah (Tom Tranter) and her grandchildren Jonathan, Katie, Jamie, Will, Mykelti and Charlotte.
Predeceased by her parents, Alice and Reginald Coombes and her siblings, Enid, Sally, Janice and Roger. She is survived by her sisters, Mavis and Veva.
Gwen loved to garden and decorate her home, and she especially enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play hockey, figure skate and sing.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in the near future. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Quinte Humane Society would be appreciated.
