Obituary for Jacqueline Ellen Nezezon (Caldwell)
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Jacqueline Ellen Nezezon 85 years of age,Trenton Ontario on March 24th 2023 after a short illness. Jackie was born on July 2nd, 1937, daughter to Irene and Gerald Caldwell, Trenton Ontario, sister to Sharon Kuhn (late Chuck) of Trenton and Errol Caldwell (Helene), Echo Bay.
On July 4th 1959, Jackie married Joseph Nezezon (RCAF) in Trenton. Mother to Christine (Harold) Gardiner and Jody (late Debbie Nezezon) and (Sheila Rittwage partner). Loving Grandmother to Jason Clancy, the late Steffany Gardiner, Joseph Gardiner, Kristoffer Gardiner, Mathew Gardiner and Tammy Nezezon, Joshua Nezezon and the late Justin Nezezon, Great Grandmother to Damien Nezezon, Hunter Dunlop and Phoenix Gardiner. Jackie had many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Jackie dearly. Jessica Caldwell (Tom) Lively Ontario, Allison Dulmage (Rhys) Calgary Alberta, Kevin Kuhn (Rita) Ottawa, Gerry Kuhn, Oregon, Sherri-Lynn Carney (Gary) Trenton, and their children.
Jackie loved her two dogs Pongo and Bailey who now live with Chris and Harold Gardiner. Jackie's favorite day was July 1st Canada Day and couldn't wait to get out there and celebrate. Jackie was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Trenton and took many bus trips with her legion members and was also a school crossing guard. Anyone who knew Jackie loved how caring and giving she was to everyone. Didn't matter who you were if you were down and out she went above and beyond to make sure you were looked after. Jackie is going to be missed dearly by all her close relatives and friends. Please feel free to post any photos to share. There will be a celebration of life for Jackie at the Trenton Royal Canadian Legion at a later date to be announced. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be appreciated.
