Obituary for Mervyn Anthony Richardson
The family of Mervyn Anthony Richardson (known to all as Merv) are sad to announce his passing on November 18th, 2022 at Providence Care Hospital at the age of 74. He will be forever missed by his wife of 51 years, Anne (nee McDonald) and children Tarquin (Linda), Annette (Tim) and Ryan (Lyndsay). He was also a much loved grandfather to Kyle, Meranda, Jacob, Lucas, Emma, Nolan and Peyton and great grandfather to Ronan.
Merv was predeceased by his parents Edna and Tony Richardson.
He will also be sadly missed by his sister Jennie (Tony predeceased) and brother Pete (Viv) and nephews Tom and Stuart and nieces Nina and Helen. His extended family and friends in Scotland, England and Canada will remember him fondly.
Special thanks to all the staff and support staff on Kidd 10 at KGH and Heritage 2 at PCH for their kind and compassionate care of Merv during his 5 weeks in hospital.
In recognition of Merv's love of all animals, a donation to Sandy Pines Wild Life Centre would have pleased him immensely.
