Obituary for Michelle Ann Macey
MACEY, MICHELLE ANN 1968-2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Michelle after a brave battle with colon cancer on Friday May 5 at Providence Care in Kingston at the age of 55 years. The much-loved daughter of Ann and Gary Macey, dear and loving mother of Caleb Coombs, beloved sister of David (Angie), and Mark Macey. Michelle will be sadly missed by her family, nieces Georgia (Jordon), and Kennedy, nephew Brennan, aunt, uncle, cousins, friends, co-workers, and, neighbours. We are grateful for her wonderful supportive friends, co-workers, family, and neighbours over the last difficult 3 years. They helped Michelle through her challenge and she expressed her gratitude to us. Michelle enjoyed working for St. Lawrence Youth Association for many years.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and care givers at BGH, KGH, HDH, Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario in Kingston, Brockville General Hospital Cancer Care Centre, Saint Elizabeth Health Care, and Providence Care.
As per Michelle’s wishes she was cremated and her ashes will be spread in the family pine woods. Family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lyndhurst Feral Cat Project or the Kingston Cancer Society.
