Obituary for Nancy Jean Kennedy (Lennox)
Nancy Jean Kennedy, of Kingston ON, at 62 years old, passed away on February 19, 2022 after a 4 year battle with cancer. Nancy was born on June 8, 1959. In 1977 she joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Medical Assistant. After retiring from the military she worked as an RPN which she found to be a rewarding experience.
Anyone he new Nancy was touched by her smile, kindness and ability to make just about any craft. Nancy spent many hours volunteering within her community from being a Girl Guide leader, to doing crafts with various senior groups she enjoying seeing people smile at their accomplishments.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Mark of 37 years and her children Matt (Natalie) and Sarah (Heidi), as well as the whole family and lots of friends.
At Nancy’s request a cremation has already taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a future date in April, with a private internment at the National Military Cemetery in June.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Cancer Foundation or Shriners Hospital for Children hospital.
