Obituary for Richard Berkers
Following a tough battle with cancer, Richard (Wendel) Berkers age 63 passed away on March 4, 2023. Richard was surrounded by loved ones when he passed, in a beautiful place, The Heart of Hastings Hospice.
Richard was predeceased by his father John. He is survived by his mother Teresa, his ‘love of his life’ Cathy, son John, daughter Shannon (Donny), his ‘pride and joy’ granddaughter Katherine, sister Christine and many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Richard was a GM retiree who impacted many lives and was always lending a helping hand. Richard you will be forever loved, missed, but never forgotten.
A special thanks to Dr Dyba and her team at KGH, also the team at Heart of Hastings Hospice for their efforts and support. And of course to all the friends and family that were there for Richard.
There will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a latter date.
