Obituary for William Cameron Finley
Passed peacefully away at Rosebridge Manor, Jasper, Ont on Tues. Jan 31st just a mth short of his 93rd birthday.
Beloved husband of Judy. Predeceased by his parents Roland & Cora Finley of Connecticut, USA & daughter Heather.
William was born in Connecticut, USA & attended Lafayette College to study Law before being drafted in the Army in France. Upon his return to US he was employed with Univac Computers - the 1st electronic digital computer in Philadelphia. He then went on to be a financial consultant to various ministries & helped start CBN a Christian Broadcasting Network (Pat Robertson) in Virginia Beach.
In 1991 they retired to family cottage on Bennett Lake outside Perth & spent many days boating & fishing until his health declined in 2018 & entered Rosebridge Manor where he received excellent care from all the staff there. Thanks to staff at Lanark Transportation that enabled him to return to the cottage for visits which he so enjoyed.
