Obituary for Pat McGinnis
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing and celebrate the life of Pat McGinnis, beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Pat passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Pat is survived by his wife Lorraine (Tobin), and their children Mike, Tom, Barry (Sylvia) and Tina; their grandchildren Ryan, Braden, Rachel, Ben and Natalie.
Pat cherished his 66 years of marriage to Lorraine.
Pat was an inspiration to all of us, as an exceptionally kind and generous man. His family was everything to him and he was an awesome father and an amazing grandfather.
Pat was proud of his 32 years of public service, retiring as a senior manager with the Correctional Service of Canada. He enjoyed his various roles with the Westport Lions Club and cherished his friends at the Rideau and Evergreen Golf Clubs.
Pat’s big heart, class and sense of humour will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was a gentleman and role model for all of us.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
